Creative Economy is Emerging as India's Next Growth Frontier, Offering New Opportunities for Young Indians: Dr. L. Murugan
At the Jindal Policy Conclave, "Law, Policy, and the Creative Economy", at O.P. Jindal Global University, the Minister of State gave the inaugural address. He described film, music, gaming, animation, design, publishing, advertising and digital content as a growing source of jobs and entrepreneurship.
According to PIB, he said the sector's growth needs strong legal and policy frameworks, including copyright protection, fair pay for creators and the responsible use of AI. The release puts the AVGC sector's need at about 2 million professionals by 2030. It also mentions AVGC Content Creator Labs planned in 15,000 schools and 500 colleges.
