NeVA: National e-Vidhan Application
NeVA is a Mission Mode Project under Digital India, run by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs as nodal ministry on the principle of "One Nation, One Application". It aims to make India's legislatures paperless. The platform handles questions, Bills, notices, assurances, committee business and bulletins, and keeps a permanent digital record. The Ministry provides funding, technical support and training.
- 9 June 2025 · PuducherryHe inaugurated NeVA for the Puducherry Legislative Assembly, the 19th legislature on the platform.
- 30 October 2025 · New DelhiHe gave the valedictory address at the 3rd National Conference on NeVA, which adopted the "New Delhi Resolution on NeVA 2025".
- 4 June 2026 · West Bengal MoUHe was present as the West Bengal Legislative Assembly signed its MoU, becoming the 33rd legislature to join.
- July 2026 · Coverage33 of 37 legislatures had signed MoUs, and NeVA Sewa Kendras were operating in 22 Houses, according to Ministry releases.
