West Bengal Legislative Assembly signs MoU for NeVA

Present at the signing of a three-party MoU to bring the Assembly onto the National e-Vidhan Application. PIB records that he highlighted technology's role in strengthening citizen engagement, improving transparency and making legislative information more accessible. West Bengal is the 33rd legislature to join.

10 kW FM transmitter station, Shivamogga

Inaugurated Prasar Bharati's new FM transmitter. According to Akashvani News, it extends Akashvani Bhadravathi's coverage across Shivamogga and eight nearby districts.

Pongal celebrations

Hosted Pongal celebrations at his residence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part, and the Vice President and several Union Ministers attended.

Government of India Calendar 2026 unveiled

The calendar's theme is "Bharat@2026: Sewa, Sushasan and Samriddhi". The Central Bureau of Communication publishes it in 13 languages.

Closing ceremony, 56th IFFI

With Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, felicitated Rajinikanth on 50 years in cinema. Presented the Golden Peacock and other awards.

New Akashvani service and Malwi-dialect bulletin, Ujjain

Inaugurated the service with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. It carries Akashvani's first news bulletin in the Malwi dialect.

Third National Conference on NeVA

Gave the valedictory address. The conference adopted the "New Delhi Resolution on NeVA 2025". PIB reported that more than 90,000 questions and 600 Bills had been processed through NeVA.

Ministerial visit to South Korea: BIFF and Seoul

Led India's first ministerial delegation to the Busan International Film Festival. Met National Assembly committee members in Seoul, the Korea–India Parliamentary Friendship Group, and the gaming company Krafton.

Visit to flood-affected villages, Rupnagar district

Visited affected villages, including Shahpur Bela and Nangal, travelling by tractor and boat, and reviewed relief work with the district administration.

NeVA launched for the Puducherry Legislative Assembly

Puducherry became the 19th legislature on the National e-Vidhan Application, a project fully funded by the Union government.

Honoured 12 community radio stations at the 8th National Community Radio Conference. The same day he released five knowledge reports on media and entertainment.
